With Medsflick SOS Help, we’re building a life-saving, community-powered emergency response system—starting with the regions that need it the most.
Medsflick SOS Help is a smart emergency feature within the Medsflick app. With just a single tap, a person in distress can send a real-time SOS alert to nearby health workers who are ready to respond.
It’s designed for rural Bihar, where healthcare access can be limited—but local frontline workers are deeply committed and ready to act.
In case of a medical emergency, the patient or a family member taps the SOS Help button in the Medsflick app.
All nearby Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) and Community Health Workers (CWHs) instantly receive an alert with the patient's location and emergency type.
The first available CWH accepts the case, locking it for others. This CWH then heads directly to the patient’s location to provide support.
If the CWH feels advanced care is needed, they can escalate the case to partnered emergency hospitals through the app. The medical team guides the CWH remotely—or dispatches help immediately.

We’re proud to share that Medsflick SOS Help is now active in Sarai and Belkunda, two high-need areas in Vaishali district, Bihar. These locations serve as our first deployment zone—bringing timely, technology-assisted emergency care to rural homes.
Critical help reaches faster with local CWHs and RMPs responding within designated service hours. While not yet 24/7, the system is built to respond promptly when active—and we’re working toward round-the-clock support.
